BOOM 2010: CELEBRATE NOW. WE ARE HERE, WE ARE NOW, WE ARE ALL ONE.
From a small tribe in Ethiopia that trekked across the Planet to Greek democracy; from Buddha and Christ to modernity’s promise of utopia – mankind has been epitomized by a series of grand narratives, each evolving beyond the one that came before.
Transition was not always easy. Even when we regressed - bubonic plagues, the dark hour of the medieval age - there was always the unspoken assumption that we will persist…
Then after the Holocaust and Hiroshima freedom came in the 1960s as a bird that brought peace and love, community and sharing, art and the hope that the world could change.
And just as our spiritual house was beginning to spread throughout the tribes of the world, ocean levels rose, glaciers melted, animals became extinct…
Human adventure is reaching its climax: we are in peak oil, peak water, peak food, peak exploitation, peak speculation, even… peak time.
So we must build a new era. We are in the peak of need for an era of universal culture, where boundaries are dissolved and hyper-connected people transform the idea of time and space.
Boom Festival. We are all one in the universal culture. We have been living the new era when the tribes gather together every two years in the August full moon.
Thousands of people from around the world discover themselves through integral expressions of awareness, knowledge and joy. Together we manifest a new peak... the peak of collective consciousness, the peak for change.
